Crime Alert - Theft from a Vehicle

Dear Resident,

We have taken several reports of suspicious activity in the area where you live, specifically males going driveways in the early hours of the morning trying car door handles.

If you have any CCTV footage/still images of incidents like this, please reply to this message and I will send details on how to send it to me.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being broken into, please read through the below advice -

Keep the vehicle locked at all times, and ensure you double lock it.

Make sure that your vehicle alarm is set.

Do not leave any valuables or "interesting" items on display

Don't leave tools in a van over night.

If possible park your vehicle on a drive or as close to your home as possible.

When away from Home Park in a busy, well overlooked area. If the car will be there after dark try to find somewhere illuminated
